In addition to our Academy team program, North Lakes United FC will proudly field Community teams in all Junior age groups from Under 6 through to Under 18 in 2024, as well as our Metro Men and Women.

For registration purposes the age group to select is the age the player turns during 2024 (Calendar Year). eg. for a player aged 12 at 01/01/2024, and turning 13 in 2024, this will be an Under 13.

The Junior Football structure is split into two main groups, being MiniRoos and Divisional Junior teams. MiniRoos is for players in the Under 6 to Under 12 age bracket, with Divisional Junior teams ranging from Under 13 to Under 18.

Under 6, 7 and 8 MiniRoos teams are ungraded, with Under 9 to Under 12 teams graded into four divisions being Development, Kangaroos, Wallabies and Quokkas.

Player grading trials for Under 9-12's will be done during February for the 2024 season to help us set the teams. Where practical and appropriate, the preference is to keep players together from the previous season.

All MiniRoos teams will play their fixtures on Saturdays. Under 6 and Under 7 games will be in-house, at Kinsellas.

Under 13 to Under 18 (Junior Divisional) will compete in divisions, play for points and play finals for those that finish top 4 on the competition ladder.

In house trials for the Under 13 to Under 18 age groups will take place in early February, with dates to be confirmed shortly.

As the Under 13 players will take part in divisional football for the first time, Football Queensland will run a series of grading games to determine which division each team will take part in for the season.

All registered players will be contacted with details of the pending trials.

Once you have registered with the club you will be directed to register and pay the appropriate fee on the Football Queensland platform Squadi. Football Queensland uses a third-party payment processor called Stripe. Stripe charges merchant fees on your fees, which the Club does not receive.

Fee-free payment is available by direct credit to our bank account. Please contact treasurer@northlakesunitedfc.com.au for more details.
